ABOUT US

The Indochinese Cultural and Service Center (ICSC) is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) corporation of Washington State.  ICSC’s mission is to improve the quality of life of Southeast Asian communities.   It was begun in 1982 as a Mutual Assistance Association (MAA) to serve the Southeast Asian populations in Pierce County.

OUR MISSION

ICSC serves Pierce County’s Indo-Chinese (Southeast Asian) community to:

(1) Reduce isolation and enhance the quality of life for elderly,

 

(2) Improve health and access to health care,

(3) Strengthen families and individuals,

(4) Strengthen youth,

(5) Reduce and prevent violence, and

 (6) Preserve and celebrate the cultural heritage of our communities. 

ICSC has been providing services to the ethnic communities that consist of Cambodian, Vietnamese and Laotian for over 25 years.
